Panthers QB Bridgewater’s MRI on Knee Shows No Damage, McCaffrey Likely Out Vs Lions

The Panthers might be without both starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and top running back Christian McCaffrey next Sunday against the Lions.

An MRI showed no structural damage in Bridgewater’s right knee, a source told Chris Mortensen of ESPN, but the quarterback is experiencing soreness and swelling and his status for Sunday’s game is uncertain.

McCaffrey, meanwhile, is unlikely to play against the Lions due to his shoulder injury, which sidelined him for Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
