Jon Beason Trading Blues?

Jon Beason

Trade Rumors were in a frenzy on the Twitter circuit. Panthers Gab followed the trend to get to the bottom of the story.

After following the rumors and searching to verify credible sources, Panthers Gab has the following details:

The Giants are working on a deal with the Carolina Panthers for LB Jon Beason, likely for a late-round pick, pending a physical.

Jon Beason will visit NY tomorrow.

Chase Blackburn was elevated to the starting role, a pick-up that Panthers acquired from the Giants.
Gettleman is familiar with his old team and with Jerry Reese. The deal may save the Panthers roughly 6 mil.

The Giants are trying to add to the team; making quick moves.
According to Tom Rock, “the Giants may have to make room for Will Hill, Jon Beason, and maybe another CB like Charles James on the 53-man roster this week.”
