Cam Newton currently#27 has 26 other QB’s listed higher. However, do the numbers tell all? Newton currently has a 91.9 QBR, higher than D. Brees (91.4 QBR) who occupies the number two spot overall.
Cam has 88 ATT; the most Sam Bradford 141.
The Yards are cut in half (577). The most—Green Bay’s Aaron Rogers (1,057).
Cam Newton has 6 TD’s. Not bad. Better than average.
One thing that stands out—overall QB’s are getting pressured. Sacks on QB’s are high. Cam has had 8. The highest-Ryan Tannehill with 14. Cam is average with sacks.

First to make the list in this category is Greg Olsen who sits at #36 (194yds) #1 Julio Jones (373)
For a TE it is good numbers but what about the other receivers?
Ted Ginn and Steve Smith tied at #62 both with 143yds.

Leaders Defense
MLBkuechly sm
Luke Kuechly, tied with Perry Riley WAS ILB, is in the #4 spot with 29. Leader- Paul Posluszny JAC MLB(31).
Thomas Davis is tied with Chad Greenway for the #16 spot. Both have 25.

DE hardy sm
Greg Hardy is tied with 10 others for a potential 5th spot with 3.0 sacks.
Charles Johnson has 2.

Luke Kuechly (1) and Robert Lester make the list (1)

Offensively-17th out of 32.

Areas to improve: More yards vertically. Spread the ball to WR’s. Get the WR’s started early. Continue to mix and match—ground and air. Cam needs more passing yards. Greg Hardy and C. Johnson must continue to add to their sack numbers. Secondary must be ball-hawks and be in position to intercept the ball. Kuechly and T. Davis must continue to play smart, make good reads and be in position to make tackles.

*The Run game appears to be working, averaging good yards.

Top Leaders– D. Williams and L. Kuechly. Greg Hardy is moving up on the list.
