Which Panthers Running Back Will Get More Fantasy Points?

By Josh Moore

Panthers have two good running backs in Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams. In years past, Williams had been the better back and the one who gets the most touches.

With William past his prime and prone to injury, he is a riskier choice for fantasy owners. Stewart, being the more powerful back, will be called in for more short yardage situations than Williams, but fantasy owners must keep in mind that Newton and fellow RB Tolbert could steal some TDs away from Stewart.

In the past, Williams, the speedier of the two, has had more touches, but due to his age, his stats could go down. Overall, Williams will be the more rewarding pick, but he is also the riskier one being a seventh year pro. While Stewart can go longer in games, Williams is the better back.

With Williams being the more riskier pick, fantasy owners should go with Stewart because he will have the most potential and will have less chance of injury.

This article is horrible…your reasons do not reflect on performance. When Williams gets his touches he proves to be more valuable.

I said he is the better back he is just riskier because of his age and pass injuries

I agree with Josh. Williams only got 2 carries inside the 5 last year. He just doesn’t get many red zone touches. Stewart got more fantasy points than Williams last year, and it looks like that trend may continue.

Overall though, because Stewart, Williams, Tolbert, and Newton will all share carries and rushing TDs, I don’t see any of the RBs are viable starting options in normal fantasy leagues.

Josh, you have no idea what you are talking about. You stupid bitch. FUCK YOURSELF!
