The Carolina Panthers will place wide receiver Legedu Naanee on injured reserve with a foot injury.
Practice squad defensive tackle DeMario Pressley will replace Naanee on the 53-man roster.
Signed to a one-year, $735,000 contract on August 5, Naanee started 10 of 15 games for the Panthers this season, catching 44 passes for 467 yards and one touchdown. A 2007 fifth-round pick out of Boise State by the San Diego Chargers, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Naanee has 107 receptions for 1,213 yards and four touchdowns during his 69-game career.
Naanee will be an unrestricted free agent in March.
