NFL Commissioner to Visit Panthers Wednesday

If you’ve been considering a trip to Spartanburg, SC this summer to take in a Carolina Panthers practice, Wednesday just might be the day to go. According to multiple sources, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will visit the Panthers at training camp as part of a tour of team camps around the league.

It comes as no surprise that the Panthers might serve as the first stop on his tour. Panther’s owner Jerry Richardson was an instrumental member of the NFLs team, led by Commissioner Goodell, that successfully negotiated the new collective barraging agreement between the League and its players this off-season.

Commissioner Goodell will field questions from fans in a town hall style setting starting at 5:15 pm, after which the Panthers will hold their afternoon practice at 6 pm.
