Shockey Says Panthers Have a Camp Planned July 22nd

Although the NFL and NFLPA have not yet agreed to a labor deal, Jeremy Shockey was quoted in a report saying the lockout could end Thursday. The new Panthers tight end said in the Busted Coverage report that he and teammates were told to report to Charlotte Friday for a three-day camp from that starts July 22nd.

The Charlotte Observer later confirmed the report through a source. “Obviously the details have to be completed, but this deal is done,” Shockey told Busted Coverage. “The Hall of Fame game is a go. It’s a win-win for both sides.”
