John Fox says he’s to blame for the loss to the Ravens

John Fox says he’s at the top of the list of those to blame for Sunday’s loss to the Ravens.

At the end of yet another dispiriting loss, the Carolina Panthers didn’t have much fight left but a few of them were careful to rally behind coach John Fox, criticized widely over the last week for the decision to start newcomer Brian St. Pierre at quarterback. Fox, who normally walks with a swagger even when losing, was shaking his head after the latest defeat, this one a 37-13 decision to the Baltimore Ravens. “I can’t blame anybody. The buck stops here,” Fox said quietly when asked about the boos that rang down throughout the day. “We have to get better. We’ve won one game at home. We’ve won one game on the season. That is the reality.” The losing has reached epic proportions here, for a team that has known consistent non-disasters under Fox. In his ninth season, the Panthers have only posted three winning records, but barring an unexpected six-game win streak to close his era, they’ll also suffer their first 10-loss campaign under his leadership.

Why can’t we at least try Edwards at qb. Three championships for a reason. Young wanting out of Tenn. Try any thing don’t just lay down and quit

  2. Derek says:

Phillip I could not agree with you more.

    PLEASE START ARMANTI EDWARDS!
