Jarrett Showing More Maturity For the Panthers

The Panthers need WR Dwayne Jarrett to have a big season if they are going to make an impact in the NFC South, and so far, the former #1 draft pick is showing a lot more maturity and finally is listening to teammates on how to be an impact player:

Panthers wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett has taken a more mature approach to his offseason preparation. Jarrett reportedly met with some “advisers and mentors” after a dismal 2009 season. He was told he needed to change his attitude towards the game and apparently he has listened, working out more in the offseason and shedding some pounds. He’s down to what is likely his last chance with Carolina as his contract expires after this season, so keep an eye on him if he’s able to land a starting receiver job.
