Posted in The Gaston Gazette is reporting that Julius Peppers may very well be back with the team next year, and a teammate thinks he’ll be back:
Julius Peppers still isn’t ready to commit to the Carolina Panthers, at least not publicly. After another dominant performance Sunday against the New York Giants, Peppers said he was pleased with how the defense is playing but again refused to speculate about his future with the team that selected him No. 2 overall in the 2002 NFL Draft. However, at least one teammate thinks Peppers might be warming up to the idea of returning next season given how well the Panthers are clicking on defense.
