Panthers Could Be Thin at Running Back Sunday vs Giants

The Gaston Gazette reports the Panthers could be short at RB this week:

The Carolina Panthers could be without running backs DeAngelo Williams and Tyrell Sutton on Sunday against the New York Giants. Both players sat out practice Thursday – Williams with an injured ankle and Sutton with a sore calf. If Williams can’t go, then Jonathan Stewart, who was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week, will get the start, with rookie Mike Goodson possibly seeing some action if Sutton is down.
