Panthers Ink Former Rams DT Antwon Burton

The Panthers signed former St. Louis Rams defensive tackle Antwon Burton to a free agent deal today following a workout this morning, accoding to a league source. The 6-foot-2, 325-pound former Temple University lineman’s presence was needed due to injuries to defensive linemen Louis Leonard and Maake Kemoeatu. Burton was cut by the Rams during their final major roster cutdown.
