Running back Mike Goodson, the team’s third-round draft pick out of Texas A&M, has been told by the Panthers he will see some action at wide receiver, possibly in the slot. “I plan on being in the backfield, but anywhere they put me I’m just ready to play,” Goodson said. “I bring a pretty good slot receiver, also, so wherever they throw me I’m ready to play.”
