Panthers Re-Sign Wide Out Jason Carter

The Panthers have re-signed wide receiver Jason Carter. He was one of the restricted free agents the Panthers did not make a tender to before the start of free agency. Carter was having a solid 2008 preseason and had a shot to make the team, but suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and missed the season. He could be a good sleeper player for the team in 09 if he stays healthy.
