With speculation swriling that Panthers’ quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator Mike McCoy is headed to Denver to become the Broncos offensive coordinator, there appears a chance that Cleveland Browns QBs coach Rip Scherer is headed to Carolina. During an appearance on WFNZ’s “Morning Sports Page,” Panthers SS Chris Harris said he suffered a torn labrum during the team’s loss to Arizona last weekend. Harris said he’d get surgery next Thursday at CMC, and estimated his recovery time at three to four months.
