Delhomme’s Poor Play as of Late A Concern
Posted by Matt Loede on December 13th, 2008 in News

Panthers QB Jake Delhomme has not been sharp recently, and he’s thrown for more than 177 yards only once in the past five games after doing so in seven of the first eight contests. His prolonged sloppiness is a concern, especially with the postseason approaching. Sources in Carolina say his problems aren’t physical — Delhomme’s surgically repaired elbow has held up fine, but with the team’s running game surging, he has taken a backseat, serving as more of a game manager.

All Panthers fans should boycott Carolina as long as Delhomme is starting QB. I’d rather root for a rookie then watch that sorry ….
