The Panther have taken a blow on defense, as rookie LB Dan Connor is done for the year with a torn ACL in his left knee. He’ll be put on IR once the team comes to terms with another player. He was hurt in Sunday’s 20-10 loss to the Vikings and had to be carted off the field. He was mostly playing on special teams in his first three games. He was the Panthers third round pick from Penn State, and came to the team as the Nittny Lions all time leader with 419 tackles as well as 14 sacks.
