The Panthers today made some roster moves getting ready for Tuesday’s compliance of the 75-man roster limit.  They put WR Jason Carter on IR with a torn ACL, and also released quarterback Lester Ricard, cornerback Curtis Deloatch, defensive end Casper Brinkley, and tight end Chris Conklin.  Look for the team to scour the waiver wire for possible wide outs now that Carter is on the shelf for the season.  They will look closely at players that find themselves on the unemployment line after Tuesday.
