Cats Release DT Scott; Sign WR Bailey

The Panthers today released injured defensive tackle Ian Scott and signed receiver Sean Bailey. Scott sprained his knee on the fifth day of camp, and was not able to make it back on the field. He had missed the entire 2007 season with Philly due to a knee injury. Bailey is an undrafted rookie from Georgia, and last season appeared in 12 games making 12 starts with 37 receptions for 597 yards and four TD’s.
