Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith missed another day of training camp Tuesday. Smith is recovering from a concussion he suffered last Saturday against Indianapolis and remains day-to-day. Wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett, who suffered a bruised leg in Monday night’s practice, also sat out Tuesday’s workout. Coach John Fox says he expects Jarrett to play before the end of the preseason. The Panthers will break training camp today, then will fly to Philadelphia for Thursday’s preseason game with the Eagles.
