The Panthers resumed their summer school OTAs Monday, and rookie tackle Jeff Otah practiced with the team for the first time. Otah, one of the Panther’s two first-round draft choices, missed the team’s minicamp and the first week of summer school with a high ankle sprain. Otah suffered the injury prior to his senior season at Pittsburgh. Running back Jonathan Stewart, Carolina’s other first-round pick, is not at the OTAs because classes were still in session. Stewart is also recovering from a toe injury.
