The Panthers have signed former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.J. Hackett to a two-year deal worth a reported $3.5-million. The team has already welcomed back receiver Muhsin Muhammad, who will compete with Hackett and Dwayne Jarrett for the starting spot opposite Steve Smith.
