Cats Grab the Services of WR Hackett

The Panthers have signed former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.J. Hackett to a two-year deal worth a reported $3.5-million. The move, which was announced Monday, is expected to increase the Panthers’ depth at receiver. The team has already welcomed back receiver Muhsin Muhammad, who will compete with Hackett and Dwayne Jarrett for the starting spot opposite Steve Smith.
