Panthers Sign OG VIncent; Get Visit from DT Scott
Posted by Matt Loede on March 3rd, 2008 in News
The Panthers had a somewhat busy day on Monday, as they first signed OG Keydrick Vincent to a two-year, $2 million contract. The 29-year-old played in eight games for Arizona in 2007 with one start. He’ll be a reserve in Carolina.
Also the team hosted a visit for free agent DT Ian Scott on Monday. Scott is about 85 pounds lighter than Kris Jenkins, but is a run stopper. He’d likely be used in a rotation behind starters Damione Lewis and Ma’ake Kemoeatu.

if the panthers don’t pick up a decent rb like warrick dunn or julious jones they may as well hang up their season, because a real running game will open up the pass and let steve smith and moose get back to their glory days in 03. so if any of the top cat top brass reads this please do more than what you have done so far in f.a? and truly rebuild our team.

Why the hell do we keep signing back-ups and special teams players. We need to get aggressive and get some actual, no-shit starters. People who will make a difference.
