Panthers to Take a Look at Crumpler, Muhammad

It appears that the Panthers are going to take a hard look at recently released tight end Alge Crumpler and wide out Mushin Muhammad. Carolinagrowl.com is reporting that GM Marty Hurney is ready to inquire about both players, but that as of right now the team has yet to meet with either players. Crumpler, who was let go last week by the Falcons, is a Greenville, N.C., native, which could influence him to come to the Panthers. Muhammad owns a home in Charlotte and has several ties to the area. He was let go this week by the Bears.
