The Panthers re-signed tackle Travelle Wharton Thursday.  Wharton started all 16 games for the Panthers last season and was due to become an unrestricted free agent.  Fellow tackle Jordan Gross will also become a free agent later this month, but the Panthers will likely place the franchise tag on him if they can’t sign him to a long-term extension.   Meanwhile, former Panthers guard Mike Wahle has signed with Seattle.  The Panthers released Wahle earlier this week.
