Johnson Puts Out Feelers to Play for the Panthers

Panther fans - would you like to see a wide out core of Steve Smith and Chad Johnson?  That’s a great thought, and C.J., who it seems badly wants out of Cincy, would like to play for the Panthers in 2008.  CJ told WFNZ-AM’s Mark Packer he wants to play for Carolina.  “Definitely,” Johnson said when asked if he’d like to play with junior college teammate Smith.  “Hey, (numbers) 89 and 85 equals Super Bowl.”  So what would it take to get Johnson?  How about a couple of draft picks and a whole lot of money to resign him?  That would likely be in the cards for the Panthers if they want Johnson to join their team, but boy, what an offense that would be!
