Peppers Misses Third Straight Practice

Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers missed another day of practice Thursday, increasing the chance that he will miss Saturday night’s game with Dallas. Peppers suffered a sprained knee in last Sunday’s victory over Seattle and has not been able to practice all week.  Reserve Stanley McClover and rookie Charles Johnson could fill in if Peppers can’t play against the Cowboys.  Quarterback Vinny Testaverde also missed practice with a sore Achilles’ tendon.  Wide receiver Keary Colbert and safety Chris Harris also sat out Thursday’s practice.
