Playoff Hopes Still Hanging on for Panthers

The Panthers are in the NFC playoff chase for another week.  The Panthers are one of four NFC teams with a 6-and-8 record, but the Panthers are the only team still mathematically alive for a playoff spot.  But Carolina will face a tall task to reach the postseason.  The Panthers would have to defeat Dallas and Tampa Bay, both division champs, and still get some help to reach the playoffs.  Carolina will host Dallas Saturday night at Bank of America Stadium.  The Cowboys will be trying to clinch home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs this week.  Dallas will lock up the conference’s top spot with a win over the Panthers and a Green Bay loss to Chicago Sunday.  Wide receiver Steve Smith returned to practice Wednesday, but defensive end Julius Peppers remained sidelined by a sprained knee.

Can I offer up an idea for Panther fans this weekend? (Or NY fans next?)
Let’s say Carolina gets a lead in the second half……one way for the crowd to mess with the Cowboy’s heads would be a chant that said; “Frozen Tundra”…“Frozen Tundra”. Think they would get the message? (You know that a Dallas loss would give the Packers home-field advantage – nothing would rattle them more than traveling to Lambeau in January).
    Thank you,
