Panthers Players To Attend Taylor Funeral

Several Panthers players have made the trip to Miami to attend the funeral of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor.  Julius Peppers, Steve Smith, Jon Beason and Damione Lewis boarded a chartered jet last night for today’s 11 a.m. service.  The funeral is expected to draw thousands to Florida International University’s Pharmed Arena, including the entire Redskins organization.  Taylor was honored throughout the NFL this weekend as all players wore a number-21 decal on their helmets in his memory.
