The Panthers will again try for their first home win of the season when they host San Francisco Sunday.  The Panthers are 0-and-5 at Bank of America Stadium and have dropped seven straight home games dating back to last season.  Carolina last won in front of its home fans November 19th, 2006 against the St. Louis Rams.  Vinny Testaverde is expected to start at quarterback for the Panthers after missing last Sunday’s loss to New Orleans with a sore back.  The 49ers are seeking their second straight win after toppling the Arizona Cardinals in overtime last Sunday.  The victory snapped San Francisco’s eight-game losing streak.
