Panthers guard Jeremy Bridges has been found guilty of assault in connection with a confrontation outside a Charlotte nightclub in July.  He was sentenced to a 60-day suspended jail term, 60 hours of community service and a $500 fine.  He was also ordered to surrender a handgun he had at the time of the incident.  His attorney has filed an appeal.  Bridges already sat out the Panthers’ first two regular season games, but could face more penalties from the NFL.
