Panthers Look for First Home Win vs Saints Sunday

The Panthers will attempt to save their season when they play host to the New Orleans Saints Sunday.  The Panthers and Saints are both 4-and-6 entering Sunday’s game, and a loss would be devastating for either team.  Carolina and New Orleans are tied for second in the NFC South, but both teams are two games behind Tampa Bay.  The Panthers are looking to halt a four-game losing streak, while the Saints have lost two in a row.  Vinny Testaverde remains the starting quarterback for the Panthers, while Steve Smith is expected to return from a shin injury.  Carolina defeated New Orleans earlier this season at the Superdome.
