The Panthers offense is in bad shape right now, and on Sunday they could be missing one of
their most important weapons, as wide out Steve Smith is suffering from a shin injury that has forced him to miss practice yesterday and today. Smith has struggled along with the rest of the offense this season, catching 45 passes for 590 yards with six touchdowns. The last three weeks he has caught 10 passes for just 94 yards and no scores. The team is getting back to health at quarterback, as both David Carr and Vinny Testaverde have practiced both days this week.
