The Panthers will play host to NFC South rival Atlanta on Sunday. The Panthers have lost their last two games and are 4-and-4 on the season. Still the Panthers are only a half-game behind Tampa Bay in the NFC South lead. Carolina is tied for second in the division with New Orleans. Quarterback Vinny Testaverde practiced for the second straight day, but David Carr was held out again as he recovers from a concussion. The Falcons are 2-and-6 but are coming off a victory over San Francisco last Sunday. The Panthers are going for a season sweep of the Falcons, after winning 27-20 at the Georgia Dome in September. Kickoff Sunday is 1:00 at Bank of America Stadium.
