Panthers to battle Vince Young

The Panthers will visit the Tennessee Titans Sunday.  The Panthers are looking to bounce back from last Sunday’s 31-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.  Carolina leads the NFC South with a 4-and-3 record.  Tampa Bay is a half-game out, while New Orleans is one game back.  David Carr is expected to start at quarterback for the Panthers Sunday.  Vinny Testaverde is still hobbled by a strained right Achilles’ tendon and missed practice again Thursday.  The Titans are 5-and-2 and tied for second in the NFC South.  The Panthers are 0-and-2 against AFC South opponents, with losses to the Colts and Houston Texans.  Carolina has won all four of its road games.  Kickoff Sunday is set for 1:00.
