Panthers Sign Cornerback, Place Deloatch on IR
Posted by Matt Loede on October 31st, 2007 filed in NewsThe Panthers have signed cornerback Patrick Dendy and placed Curtis Deloatch on injured reserve. Dendy appeared in 16 games over two seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He was released by the Panthers prior to the start of the season. The 25-year-old Dendy was an undrafted free agent out of Rice. Deloatch suffered a torn ACL in last Sunday’s 31-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Panthers return to practice today as they prepare for Sunday’s visit to Tennessee.
