Panthers Pounded at Home by Colts 31-7

The undefeated Indianapolis Colts hammered the Panthers 31-7 Sunday at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers jumped out to a 7-0 lead on a three-yard DeShaun Foster touchdown run, but the Colts dominated the rest of the way. Joseph Addai scored three touchdowns for the Colts, who improved to 7-and-0. Peyton Manning threw for 254 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including a 59-yarder to Reggie Wayne. Manning now has the most touchdown passes in Colts history, passing Johnny Unitas. The Panthers fell to 4-and-3 on the season and dropped to 0-and-3 at home. Vinny Testaverde led the Panthers on their opening scoring drive but left with an Achilles injury. David Carr replaced him and threw for 103 yards. The Panthers remain in first place in the NFC South because Tampa Bay lost to Jacksonville.
