Panthers Return To Practice, Await Word On Carr Injury

Carr As the Panthers return to practice today, the team is expected to update the condition of quarterback David Carr. Carr has been nursing a sore back, and speculation has swirled around whether he will start Sunday against the Colts, or yield the opening snap to backup Vinny Testaverde. With the team’s bye week behind them, Carr has had an extra week to nurse the injury. The 43-year-old Testaverde said earlier this week that he believes Carr will get the nod if he is healthy.
