11 Free Agent Players Work Out for Panthers
Posted by Matt Loede on October 24th, 2007 filed in NewsIt was a busy off day for the Panthers Tuesday, as the team worked out 11 free agents. Among those in the group included two players from UCLA - quarterback Drew Olson and return man Jeremy Bloom. Olson may be a candidate for a practice squad spot. Bloom who was a former Olympic skier, has tried out for a few other NFL teams and has some potential. Other players that worked out included Defensive back Greg Blue, defensive back Patrick Dendy, running back Kay-Jay Harris, linebacker William Kershaw, defensive back Keiwan Ratliff, defensive back Lamont Thompson, linebacker Anthony Trucks, running back Marquis Weeks and defensive back Gemara Williams. The team was not expected to make any moves with these players and will keep their names as possible replacements if players get hurt throughout the season.

Olsen should play. He’s got what it takes. All of you who disagree need to be educated. He’s accurate, strong, and should NEVER be utilized as a “replacement”. The Baltimore Raven’s “missed the boat”!!!!!!!!!!!!!
