Testaverde Says Carr Will Start If Healthy

Panthers backup quarterback Vinny Testaverde says he believes David Carr will start Sunday against the Colts if he is healthy.  As the Panthers come off their bye week, Coach John Fox has been mum on the team’s quarterback decision, and said Monday in a statement that there would not be an update on Carr’s back injury until the team resumes practice on Wednesday.  The 43-year-old Testaverde started in place of the injured Carr at Arizona in Week Six and led the team to a 25-10 victory.
