Panthers Seek Consistency Heading into New Orleans
Posted by Matt Loede on October 4th, 2007 filed in OpinionsThe Panthers are seeking consistency after trading wins and losses in their first four games of the season. The Panthers are 2-and-2 after last Sunday’s 20-7 home loss to Tampa Bay. Carolina has won both of its road games, but the Panthers have looked horrid in home losses to the Bucs and Houston Texans. Defensive tackle Kris Jenkins called the team’s effort “garbage” following Sunday’s loss. The Panthers will travel to New Orleans to meet the NFC South rival Saints Sunday. The Saints, who won the division title last season, are 0-and-3 in 2007. The Panthers will return to the practice field later today.
