The Panthers placed cornerback Dante Wesley on injured reserve, ending his season. Wesley suffered a cracked collarbone early in Sunday’s 34-21 loss to Houston at Bank of America Stadium. The Panthers re-signed cornerback Curtis Deloatch to take Wesley’s spot on the roster. Wesley re-signed with the Panthers after being cut by New England in the preseason. He spent the first four years of his career in Carolina before leaving via free agency. Wesley has also played with the Chicago Bears. Reserve linebacker Adam Seward also has a calf injury and his status for Sunday’s game at Atlanta is uncertain. Offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges also returned from a two-game suspension Monday. Bridges was arrested in late July for allegedly pointing a gun at a woman in a parking lot outside a club. He has a court hearing October 2nd.
