Panthers, Texans Ride Winning Streaks Into Sunday

Salley

The Panthers and Houston Texans will both bring three-game winning streaks into Sunday’s game at Bank of America Stadium.  The Panthers and Texans both won their final two games of the 2006 season and kicked off 2007 with victories last Sunday.  Coach John Fox picked up his 50th career win as Carolina dumped St. Louis 27-13, while Houston stifled Kansas City 20-3 last Sunday.  The Panthers and Texans have met just once, with Houston winning a 2003 game at Reliant Stadium.  Safety Nate Salley was the only Panther to miss practice Wednesday.  Salley is still bothered by a sprained knee.
