Panthers Sign TE Fauria

The Panthers signed veteran tight end Christian Fauria Tuesday. Fauria is a 13-year NFL vet and spent last season with the Washington Redskins.  He has also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.  To make room on the roster, the Panthers released cornerback Curtis Deloatch.  Deloatch re-signed wit the Panthers last week.  Carolina also signed running back Alex Haynes to the practice squad and released tight end Chad Upshaw from the practice squad.  The Panthers return to practice today and will entertain Houston Sunday.
