Morgan Reports No Issues After Opener

Linebacker Dan Morgan had a successful return to the Panthers lineup Sunday.  Morgan, who suffered a season-ending concussion in the 2006 opener against Atlanta, returned to the lineup and had a team-high seven tackles in Carolina’s 27-13 victory at St. Louis.  He played the majority of snaps and led a Panthers defense that stifled the Rams in the second half.  The Panthers surrendered only 238 total yards in the game and allowed only a field goal in the second half.  Carolina also forced two Steven Jackson fumbles on consecutive plays in the second half.  Players get the day off today before returning to practice tomorrow.  The Panthers will host Houston Sunday at Bank of America Stadium.
