Panthers Make More Roster Moves

The Panthers placed third-string quarterback Brett Basanez on Injured Reserve Tuesday.  Basanez suffered a right wrist injury during last Friday’s preseason loss to New England and will miss the season.  The Panthers also made several other moves to get down to the 75-player limit.  Carolina waived running back Marlion Jackson and waived wide receiver Justin McCullum with an injury settlement.  The Panthers also place wide receiver Josh Davis on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list and placed defensive end Rondell Biggs on IR. The Panthers have to set their roster to the regular-season limit of 53 players by 6:00 Saturday.
