Panthers Ready for Preseason Opener

After several weeks of training camp in Spartanburg, the Panthers are about to see their first preseason action.  The Panthers will hold a final walk through this morning and will play their exhibition opener Saturday night at the New York Giants.  Coach John Fox has not divulged his playing rotation, but starters typically play only the first quarter in the first preseason game.  The Panthers have gone undefeated in the preseason in three of the last four years and were 4-and-0 in exhibition play in 2006.
