James Anderson vs the Pass

The Panthers held their live drills of training camp Wednesday morning in Spartanburg.  Coach John Fox says he was pleased with how the drills went but adds the teams still has much work to do in camp.  Fox also says he’s happy with the Panthers core group of wide receivers and has been impressed with the early performance of second-round draft pick Dwayne Jarrett.  Fox praised Jarrett’s ability to make tough catches in tight spaces.  Meanwhile, safety Nate Salley missed the second practice of the day with an undisclosed injury.   The Panthers will practice in Spartanburg today and Friday, before heading to Charlotte for their annual Fan Fest on Saturday.
