The Panthers are learning some new offensive wrinkles as training camp continues in Spartanburg. The Panthers have a new offensive coordinator this season, as Jeff Davidson has replaced the fired Dan Henning. Wide receiver Steve Smith says Davidson has not brought wholesale changes to the offense but is implementing some things they did not use under Henning. Davidson says the offense is still trying to find its identity and is “doing a little bit of everything” in the early days of camp. Smith was given the day off from practice on Tuesday but will workout today. The Panthers will practice twice today, at 9:10 a.m. and 3:10 p.m.
